Urban Decay Naked Palette Review!

The Urban Decay Naked Palette $48

So I went back and forth on getting this palette. I heard it was amazing but I already have so many eye shadows I wondered if it would be to my benefit to purchase a palette that costs $50. I went to Sephora and there is was sitting on the shelf just calling my name. So of course I picked it up. Here is the review

Price: 8 out of 10. You get 12 eyeshadows in the palette. A useless brush and a travel UD Primer Potion. My only complaint is that there were more grams of shadow in the palette.

Packaging: 8 out of 10. The packaging is simple and clean maybe a little bit too boring.

Pigment:  10 out of 10. I have to say every single shadow in this bad boy is beautifully pigmented and they all blend so well and compliment eachother.

Lasting? 9 out of 10. It lasted all day I had to touch it up after about 12 hours.

Total: 9 out of 10. So ....

Would I recommend? Absolutely!!!!!! You have to be crazy if you don't have this palette. It is a little pricey but well worth the money, I think I might go purchase another one just so I have backup when this one is empty! :) Here are the swatches of the colors .... It is said that this new fabulous collection will be introduced to the states on July 28th and it will be international sometime in August. Makeup artists around the world were told about this collection and its promotion is stictly through word of mouth. I love that about MAC! The Glamglass's I'm most excited for are It's a Wow, Check this Out, Rich and Witty, Tour de Fabulous, and Knockout. The Lip Pencils I can't wait for are pretty much all of them except for Just My Type (a little too dark for me.) July 28th hurry up because I am super excited for these bad boys :)

How to dress up any summer outfit ....

Wedges!!!! Wedges can take a casual outfit and amp it up into a totally fab

more dressy look. You can wear wedges with practically anything!! I have

been looking for a cute pair for probably almost a year ... I wanted this pair

of Michael Kors wedges named Victoria .. look them up they are AHHMAZING.

But when I went to purchase them last year they were sold out so luckily I found the

wedges pictured above and loved them. I bought them in the tan color bc I think it

 looks more summery then black! And the plus side is you can wear wedges with

almost anyoutfit! These would look great with a white dress or a pair of jean shorts and

a cute printed top! I hope you find your perfect wedges this summer.

New Nail Polishes!!

I just bought these two nail polishes from Sears. They are Essie Nail Polishes in the color French Affair and Lilacism. I love these colors they are so light and summery! :) I def recommend them both!! (Don't mind the fact that I can't paint my nails very well)

 Pink Venus Eyeshadow from MAC

UGLY as an eyeshadow BUT

 totally BEAUTIFUL as a Blush

It is a perfect pinkish mauvish color on the cheeks. It's great for summer because it looks very natural and has a bit of shimmer for the perfect highlight. This shadow makes your cheeks pop like you would not believe. (Picture shown below .. you can kinda see how great it looks)

Always remember: be creative you can use eyeshadows as blushes, bronzers as eyeshadows, lip liners as eye liners .. don't let the packaging stop you :)

NYX Cosmetics

Although they are not paying me to talk about their products nor did I recieve anything free from the company I wanted to share how amazing their products are. They have MAC quality products for around half of the price. As I was watching Rupals Drag Show which was supported by NYX Cosmetics I got to see the high quality and pigmentation that the ladies were wearing. I was really impressed. I have always used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk for an eyeshadow base and I've tried a few lipsticks but their other products really surprised me. So I intent on finding a local retailer to purchase products so I can do a review ... if not I guess I will have to order online. but until then .... give it a little looksie yourself :) www.nyxcosmetics.com

Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray Review!

I've been told this product was amazing so of course I had to try it out for myself. So heres the review ...

Price: 8 out of 10. This product was $23 so I think it's pricy for a salt spray.

Packaging: 10 out of 10. The packaging is simple and clean but is very appropriate with the sun and the wave. and the colors are perfect

Performace:  9 out of 10. I sprayed this in my hair and I was left with perfect beachy locks.

Lasting? 9 out of 10. It lasted all day until I went in the pool it even stood through humidity

Total: 9 out of 10. So ....

Would I recommend? Absolutely!!!!!! This product gave me perfect beachy hair. And the crazy thing was I sprayed it on dry hair. I went into work with my hair in a bun, unbrushed because I was lazy and wanted to try this spray. The best part is you can use this on wet or dry hair. I gave it a 9 out of 10 on performance though because in the back it was a little more frizzy but maybe its because I didn't spray as much back. All I did was spritz it all over and lightly scrunched my hair ... it took literally 1 min. Overall I am inlove with this little ocean water in a bottle <3

My Favorite Summer Lipgloss & Full Review!!

Too Faced Glamour Gloss in Plush

Richly pigmented shades offer a chic range of choices for today's glam girl. It provides a cooling sensation while adding a plumping effect without the burning sensation. It is a one of my all time favorite lipglosses ... so lets get into the review :)

Price: 7 out of 10. It was $19 which is very pricey for a lipgloss so I wasn't pleased about it at all.

Packaging: 10 out of 10. The packaging super adorable! It is very girly and at the top of the wand there is a huge diamond that stands out loveeee it!!

Pigment:  9 out of 10. It is a beautiful sheen peachy coral color which is great for every skintone.

Lasting? 7 out of 10. I mean its lipgloss it lasts just as long as MAC lipglosses

Total: 8 out of 10.

Would I recommend? Definately! This color is perfect for the summer and it would look great on anyone. It also has a pain free lip plumper which is amazing! It is pricey which is why the total score became so low but I love this lipgloss it has to be one of my favorites!!
